Boat Rental in Lofoten

At Lofoten Havfiske, you can rent stable and secure boats tailored for fishing in the Lofoten Sea. We offer four different models fully equipped with GPS plotter, sonar, VHF, and all safety equipment to make you feel secure at sea. Whether you're an experienced boat operator or not, we have a boat model that suits you. You'll receive a thorough briefing on the boat to optimize your chances of a successful fishing trip and ensure your safety at sea.

All boats are equipped with a "Tracking System" for increased safety. You will also find a first aid kit, throw line, distress rockets/flares, and a fire extinguisher. An anchor with approximately 30m anchor line and a drift anchor are also provided. The boats have multiple rod holders, gaffs, halibut flying gaff + tail rope, tape measure, fillet knife, knife sharpener, bucket.

Waypoints - Our best fishing spots are programmed into the plotter to maximize your chances for a successful catch. After a briefing with us, you will know when, where, and how to fish to make the most of your day.

Life jackets are included in the price. (Inflatable ISO 12402-3 (150N) approved with automatic inflation upon contact with water).

The boats are fully fueled and cleaned upon arrival and should be returned in the same condition. A gas station is available at the dock and accepts common credit cards such as VISA, Mastercard, etc.

Fishing equipment (rod and reel) is available for rent at NOK 150 per day/set or NOK 500 per week/set. Floatation suits are also available for rent at NOK 150 per day or NOK 500 per week.

Boating license

Note that you must have a boating license or be born before 1980 to rent boats from us. This must be brought on board the boat along with valid identification.
